MACAU – Wednesday, August 11, 2010: Asian Superstar Ms. Sammi Cheng revealed the new theme tune to the world’s newest and most spectacular extravaganza ‘The House of Dancing Water’ at a show preview held at the ‘Dancing Water Theater’ today. ‘The House of Dancing Water’, an over HKD 2 billion world class production which is set to open its door to the public on Friday September 17, 2010, is envisioned by Mr. Lawrence Ho, Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Melco Crown Entertainment Limited and destined to be the greatest ‘must see’ show in Asia.
The theme song, entitled ‘Water of Love’, is the exciting new signature theme to the highly anticipated show personally created and directed by Mr. Franco Dragone, one of the world’s greatest show makers whose unique theatrical creations have been experienced by over 65 million people. This romantic love song perfectly encapsulates the spirit of ‘The House of Dancing Water’ which tells the story of an epic and spectacular journey of love-lost and found, in a mystical and thrilling journey of adventure that transcends both time and space.
At today’s event, Asian Superstar Ms. Sammi Cheng, the voice of ‘The House of Dancing Water’, personally joined Mr. Franco Dragone and the show cast to reveal the theme song as part of a sneak show preview of dramatic sequences from the extravaganza. The music video was filmed at the ‘Dancing Water Theater’, a purpose built theater designed by renowned Pei Partnership-which is going to house the largest water extravaganza in the world. It contains one of the most impressive commercial pools in the world, holding approximately 3.7 million gallons water which is more than five Olympic-sized swimming pools, and will be one of the largest water-based theaters in the world.

Housed in the awe-inspiring, approximately 2,000-seat ‘Dancing Water Theater’ and performed by a superb cast of approximately 77 international performance artists, ‘The House of Dancing Water’ is set in an extraordinary Kingdom where nature’s magic reigns and will take audiences on an awe-inspiring journey through the human emotions from the abyss of Sadness and Anger, to the heights of Desire and the summit of Joy, between the cliffs of Fear to a glorious resolution where Love triumphs over Hate and its sinister forces.
This spectacular show, personally created and directed by Mr. Franco Dragone, also incorporates dazzling costuming, together with amazing audio and visual special effects.
Tickets are available for sale for ‘The House of Dancing Water’, which is currently scheduled to run from 8pm every week from Wednesday to Sunday, with an additional 5pm show on Fridays to Sundays. During the current opening period, ticket prices for this approximately 70-minute show range from HKD 380, HKD 680, HKD 880 and HKD 1,280 for adults, and HKD 270, HKD 480, HKD 620 and HKD1,280 for children. Macau residents, senior citizens, full-time students and American Express Platinum card holders can enjoy a special 10% discount.
